Our long-standing business partner in land-based fish farming/aquaculture – Billund Aquaculture A/S unfortunately went bankrupt in the summer of 2024. It affected several stakeholders. Fortunately, many of the competent employees are already moving on to interesting new positions.

KW Pumper is now working directly with BA’s former customers, as they found themselves stuck in their projects. Due to our insight into system design we continue supporting the customers in the design and dimensioning of the pump solutions to ensure, that their projects are carried forward in the best possible way.

Since the very beginning of BA, KW Pumper has worked closely with them as a permanent supplier on pump solutions for RAS systems in land-based fish farming and aquaculture.

We are still – since 2018– working closely together with Atlantic Sapphire to secure operation and maintenance of their RAS system. In this collaboration we assist the tune up of some initial design challenges.

We support aquaculture facilities directly in both the project and operational phases in Chile, Florida, Mexico, Nova Scotia, Tasmania, and several places in Europe, including most recently in Germany, where we have delivered the RAS-pumps for what will become the largest landbased shrimp-farm i Europe.

It is our foremost goal to help – directly or indirectly – customers move forward and achieve the most efficient pumping solutions for their RAS systems.
